What Obama Believes

Stumble Upon Toolbar

I found this heart wrenching video at Milehimama.

As my children watched over my shoulder, the girls got tears in their eyes and wondered aloud, "Why? Why would anyone do that?"

Not my son, though. He clenched his fists and furrowed his brow. He was furious. "Why aren't they in jail?" He fumed. "They should be in jail!"

I told him that what they were doing is not against the law and all the children stood staring at me in disbelief.

Some time later in the day, as we were discussing the Declaration of Independence, my son fumed again, "See?! Those babies should have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, but they don't!"

I hope, when you each of you is deciding how you will cast your vote in November, you will take into account how Obama treats the weakest and most vulnerable among us.

If you are thinking of voting for a third party candidate, as I did when I voted for Ross Perot in the 90's, please, consider that those votes will be working in favor of this man who believes that it is acceptable to allow babies to be killed without mercy.

Obama is a snake. His language is lies. I think he's hollow inside.

On a different note, interesting how your kids reacted. More often than not with revelations like this, men react first with anger, and women with sadness. It's quite that way with me and Harmony. I go for punching someone's face in, and she goes for crying.

You've not been coming in on my blog feeds! I wonder why?? I just thought you weren't posting!

Bravo, Connie. And bravo for your children. I've always been impressed by the capacity of children to cut through the muck and get to the truth.

That is truly, truly awful. I've always been against abortion, but I had no idea that kind of abortion was going on. It's awful. Those mothers could wait a few weeks, go through the same thing, and the babies could be adopted by loving families.

Thanks for linking to me!

About Obama - how can he lead a people, if he can't recognize a person?

I've only been following your blogs a short time (I love them!). I am touched by your children's response to this issue. My 8 year old reacts in very much the same way; sadness, anger, confusion and disbelief. She knows very personally how devestating it is for one to lose their baby in miscarriage and beyond- so how could someone do this purposely? Sadly, I have no answers. Thanks again. :)

Thanks for posting this! It disgusts me that people lift him up as some sort of redeemer, one who will save us. All those innocent lives that were lost surely wouldn't see it that way.

Thank you for posting this. I had heard about it, and yet to actually see it, is mind-boggling. I wish I could go to those hospitals and take care of every one of those babies. I just can hardly believe that a man who wants to be our president, a man who wants change, a man who has children of his own, could look right in the face of this decision and be so heartless.
