This is a video of my 6 yr. old crocheting. Notice how she uses her very own technique? She's special that way. She uses a similar technique when deciding if her pants and top actually match.

Wow! I need to remember that! I recently taught a friend to knit and she only has the use of one hand. That was a challenge, but she mastered it. I didn't think about using her toes. I did have to determine what was needed to knit one-handed and that was MY biggest challenge. She surprised me by showing me a prayer shawl that she knitted for a sick relative just before Christmas. It was neat! Congratualtions on teaching your children those skills.
Oh, that is so sweet! :) Sometimes, I just need an extra "hand" too. I must remember to take my shoes off! :)
