WOW! You guys like free stuff as much as I do!

Seriously, I am overwhelmed by all the kind comments many of you have left here and at Bloggy Giveaways. Remember that Shannon will be drawing a winner tomorrow for one of my oilcloth aprons, so you only have a little more time to go over there and enter.

Today is a cloudy day and it rained much of the night last night. I am glad for some relief from the heat, but my 3 little girls are glad about something altogether different. SNAILS!! This is the perfect weather for a snail hunt.

They love to find them and build them little habitats and name them and gross out Mommy by bringing them into the house. They get especially excited if they find two that are "getting married" (that's mating to most of us) because they know that means MORE SNAILS!!

Here is a picture I snapped of the three snail hunters during dinner one night. This was a genuine, spontaneous loving moment. (They sit on a bench at the table. That explains the close proximity.) Their smiles only dimmed a little when I made them hold the pose while I ran to get the camera.
