Here are some riddles from different riddle books that we have. The answers are at the bottom of the post.

These are from The World's Most Baffling Puzzles.

1. Their are three errers in this paragraph. Study it closely and see if you can find all of them.

2. According to the constitution of the United States, a person must meet four requirements to become the leader of our great country. They are:
(1) The candidate must be 35 years of age or older.
(2) The candidate must have be born in the United states.
(3) The candidate must have lived here for at least 14 years.
(4) The candidate must ________?

What is the fourth requirement?

3. Can you tell us what order these numbers are in? 8,5,4,9,1,7,6,3,2,0

4. What do these three sentences have in common?

Madam, I'm Adam.

Able I was ere I saw Elba.

A man, a plan, a canal, Panama.

5. How many cubic yards of dirt are there in a ditch 12 yards wide, 20 feet deep, and 600 feet long?

6. Place two minus signs (-) and one plus sign (+) in the following problem to make it equal 100.

These are from The Puzzle Book.

1. A bus driver was going down a street. He went right past a stop sign without stopping. He turned left when there was a "no left turn" sign. Then he turned the wrong way into a one-way street. And yet, he didn't break a single traffic law. Why not?

2. If five horses eat five bags of oats in five minutes, how long will it take 100 horses to eat 100 bags of oats?

3. Once there was a player
In a tennis game
She played very well,
And won great fame.
Jane was her first name,
What was her last name.

The tennis player's last name is hidden in the poem. Can you find it?

4. On a weekday, it takes John 1 1/2 hours to mow the yard, but on Saturday, it only takes him 90 minutes. Why is this?

1. What is a word in the English language that is spelled with only consonants?

2. What is a word in the English language that is spelled with only vowels?

Answers to The World's Most Baffling Puzzles:

1. One error is the wrong use of "their". their there. The second error is the misspelling of error. errer error. The third error is that there are only two other errors in the paragraph, not three! "Their are three two errers in this paragraph....."

2. The candidate must be elected.

3. The numbers are in alphabetical order. Eight, Five, Four, Nine, One, Seven, Six, Three, Two, Zero.

4. All of these sentences are palindromes, which means that they are the same backwards as forwards.

5. The answer to this one is none, because a ditch has no dirt in it!

6. 123 - 45 - 67 + 89 = 100

Answers to The Puzzle Book:
1. He didn't break any laws because he wasn't driving a bus! It was his day off, and he was out walking.

2. It still takes only five minutes!

3. The tennis player's name is Jane What. When it says, "What was her last name." It is stating something because of the period at the end of the sentence.

4. It only takes John 90 minutes on weekends because 1 1/2 hours is the same as 90 minutes!

Answers to my riddles:

1. A word with only consonants is "Hhmmmmm". Such as in, "Hhmmmmm, I'll have to think about that."

2. A word with only vowels is "eye" because "y" can be a vowel sometimes.

Dr Smith and her son were in a car accident. Dr Smith died. When they took her soon to the hospital the ER doctor said "I cannot operate on him because he's my son"

I love palindromes. It's too bad there's not a word for palindrome that is a palindrome.
