Just Something You Should Know

Stumble Upon Toolbar

This is a L.A.H.F. (That stands for Learned At Home Fact, and it sounds just like laugh.)

If you ever share a bedroom with a three-year-old girl and you come out of the bathroom from brushing your teeth at bedtime and you see her dive into bed and pull the covers over her head and you hear her say, "I not do anything. I really not," then you better investigate your room, because she has very likely broken something or scribbled on the best picture you ever drew with your birthday markers and left the lids off, or else she has put glue in your favorite book.

I just thought you should know that.

And that's probably the longest sentence I've ever written in my life.

Uuuuummmmm, Me, If you're not going to stick to the topic of the post, I'm going to have to report you to the blog authorities, and you'll get put in a bloggity time out.

It's not like I go over to your blog and leave all kinds of random comments....oh....wait....never mind...

LOL. I really did forget to ask what lil K did that she said she didn't really do. I honestly was wondering about that but dinner and drycleaning were beckoning, so I had to choose - stick to the blog topic or go save the kitchen... ;)

Oh NO!! I;ve never shared a room wth a three year old sister, but I have been in a house with some very quiet toddlers - which ALWAYS means trouble!
So, what did she do? Glue? Markers? or break something?

Oh - great job on the sentence! It didn't read like a run-on at all! ;-)

Denise,

She scribbled on a copy of what used to be the best picture I ever drew and she scribbled a little on the origanal one, too. My grandmother gave me a huge horse book for Christmas that has a dust jacket. I guess she was playing with it and the dust jacket came off and she thought she had broken it, because she glued it back on. I went fishing with Mydadmark on Monday, and when I came back my birthday markers were scattered all over my floor, which of course was perfectly clean. Hehehe ;-)

Scribbled on your drawing AND the original picture? Glued the dust jacket onto the book? (that's a new one by the way -- I've never heard of that) I'm sorry :-(

I'm sure you forgave her as quickly as you could - and then made sure things were put UP so it hopefully wouldn't happen again!
Is it terribly hard being a patient big sister? Probably, but I bet there's also lots of hugs, too.

It isn't my best picture any more, and the dust jacket wasn't stuck on very well, because thankfully she doesn't have much experience in gluing(!) so I got it off. And did I tell you about the several times she got into the lotion that my friend gave me? It was the same lotion every time! And my other sister, who is 5 now, once put half of a stick of Mymomconnie's lipstick in her hairand ate the other half and this list could go on forever....
