I have just learned about a large homeschooling family that has fallen on hard times. The husband has been without a steady job for six months. He has been able to pick up small jobs here and there, but now they find themselves without money to pay rent and utilities.

I wish we could help. We've been without a job for over a year. Thank goodness for savings, but it's running out. There's just no where to work here. Our county's unemployment is over 20% when you add in all the workers who've given up. What to do?
