This is my first time to participate in Finer Things Friday. The idea is to tell about the simple things that enrich our lives.
I had my 43rd birthday a few days ago and MaddieLynn's gift to me was a box of pretty rocks.
They weren't just any ordinary rocks, though. They are made of CHOCOLATE!
Don't they look real?!
She told me she would tuck them away for me so little hands wouldn't discover them and eat them all up at once. She put them in a drawer in the nightstand beside my bed, and each night before she goes to bed, we snuggle up together in my bed and share a few chocolate rocks while we talk and laugh about our day.
I can't think of anything finer!
Be sure to click on the "Finer Things" box at the top of the post to see what others have enjoyed this week.

What a great Mom you are!!!
That is so neat. Thanks for doing that for your mama, MaddieLynn. You are a wonderful girl. I can tell. :)
I love it! Precious memories; treasure them always! :) That is so sweet!
Those are so cool! What a neat gift!
What a lovely gift and nice way to share your relationship with her.
Those "rocks" totally had me fooled! What a sweet way to spend time together.
Thanks for joining in!

Love and Prayers,
Tim
Sounds like really special mother/daughter moments. :) And yes those rocks look really authentic!
What a cool gift!
Have I ever mentioned that you and MaddieLynn remind me of my mom and me? We always had a special relationship while I was growing up, and are still 'bestest buds' now that I am a mom, too. :)
Amy, I really hope MaddieLynn and I have that kind of relationship always!
Tim, The rocks came from Walmart.
