I can't remember how it began, except that I was lounging on my bed. And I was innocent. Innocently lounging on my bed when I heard the renegade monkey "assembly call", which in this case was "DOG PILE ON MOMMY!!!"
Suddenly, all the monkeys piled on and pinned my arms while the littlest one applied some dental hygiene to my nose.
The usually loyal 14 year old monkey, instead of coming to my aid, grabbed a camera to document the event.
Alas! As is so often the case, the attackers became so frenzied that they began to fall from "friendly fire". During the excitement two little monkeys took blows to the head from their own compatriots.
Here I am lecturing the subdued troop on the consequences of dog piling their own mother. Notice the baby is continuing her campaign for oral (and nasal) hygiene.
