We all made it to our new home safely. Praise God!
The moving in has been without any major glitches, except for the fact that there is no backyard fence when there was definitely supposed to be a backyard fence, the formerly house trained dog has forgotten his training, the dryer had nowhere to vent until yesterday afternoon, the school supplies are currently AWOL, and the hot water heater keeps deciding not to work at the most inopportune times.
Besides that, though, we're good.
We feel very blessed with all that God has provided for our family and are enjoying our new home.
I still have a box or two (thousand) to unpack, and I can't say how long that will take because of all the people who live with me who keep expecting me to meet their nutritional and clothing needs.
Not to mention that whole homeschool thing.
As soon as I can think of something to say besides, "THE BOXES! THEY ARE MANY!" I'll be back to my regular stellar blogging level.
Until then...
THE BOXES! THEY ARE MANY!

Glad you're there safe and sound!
Praise the Lord you made it safely! I know what you mean... in our marriage, we've moved 11 times and the more children we've had, the longer it took me to set up house. I would say, "If you would all just agree to go into a voluntary coma for a couple of days, you could wake up to a new house!" Yes, mine too insisted upon eating and having clean clothing. And they thought it was great fun to help unpack things too...and put them back into the wrong boxes...and then pack up things I'd already unpacked...things like that. :)
I'll be praying you get all settled in soon and for the Lord to fill your hearts with joy even in the chore of unpacking.
love,
Jaynee
So glad you made it safely!!!
So glad you made it safely.
I hope your unpacking goes quickly and orderly :)
Whee! I am so glad you are back! I have missed your daily tidbits of humor. But I know you will have a few things to do before you are back to blogging full speed. Good luck!
Glad you all made it safely! Hope all of the unpacking and little glitches are worked out real soon!
Glad you are there and getting settled!
