Barbecue Review

Stumble Upon Toolbar

I realize that I mentioned the delicious barbecued brisket that was served at the party we attended, but neglected to give all of you the technique for making your own.

Here are the techniques used to make various barbecue recipes. Please, study this closely. There will be a quiz after class.

I got this very informative video review from Amy (who apparently lives in a "non-southern state").

Love it. Really. I wish Wordpress would allow videos to be posted and I would do it right now.
Thanks for the laugh.:)

This is so funny - and a great education for me at the same time - here I thought it was a verb!

Woo Hoo! North Carolina BBQ is definitely the best! I should know, since it's my home state, too. ;-)

And really, the Georgians canNOT make up their minds. I've never seen a people so ambivalent about BBQ. Nothing like those from NC and SC (mustard BBQ is actually really good, btw) who consider their style of BBQ to be worth fighting over.

The children heard the music and gathered around. Simply - We loved it! We watched it twice!

Note: What do you mean BBQ is not something you DO? Obviously, we are yankees, albeit very, very, very western (read: pacific coast) yankees! ;-)

Thanks, Connie!

Hmmm, I left a comment yesterday morning, but it isn't here. :-(

Well, I started the video and all the children gathered around to see what the noise was about. Short story, we all loved it and watched it a second time -- okay, so we actually went to youtube and watched it a third time!

Never considered myself a Yankee before, bit I guess since we aren't in the south, we are way, way, way west (Pacific coast) Yanks!

Thanks for sharing this, Connie! I didn't realize that bbq was NOT something you DO. ;-)

Too funny. As a native Floridian I'm slightly saddened to agree that FL fails to qualify as a southern state, but to add insult to injury they put up the map state of California! Yep, I caught that. ICK. Sure we share Mickey, but we're not that bad...yet?!
