we had some like that when I was growing up (I was only #3 - so I don't know that I had them... :-)
I can remember my mom cutting the feet off & they just kept on wearing them.
We've got a picture of my youngest brother - maybe 4 years old - wearing thinning pink fuzzy footyless pj's.
I'm not sure that I'd go that far...

I think there's a little wear left, don't you????

Let her pick out her favorite fabric and make patches for them! Then she'll feel like they are special just for her.

I like Michelle's patch idea. We had a comfy adorable fleecy white pair of pajamas. I had to hide them from #3 and throw them away. It was kinda sad to see them go. Each kid wore them so much.

HAHA, we cut the feet off of some of those pajamas. He just wore some socks to bed.

I always just cut the feet off when the toes started poking out. I have pictures of the kids with pajamas so small that once the feet were off, the elastic was practically at their knees. Oops. I'm surprised they didn't walk like hunchbacks or need corrective shoes.

Cute pictures!

I remember those passed down among my four boys. I patched and patched those holes. I just stitched across the end of the foot with my sewing machine. Worked for a while.

Oh yes, we've got some of those! I just hack the feet off when they get too holey...
