I thought that was an interesting article about the family of seven. But this family of (now) ten has lived on less than that for a long time!

We are a family of 7 as well and we make just under $30,000. We don't use coupons because my husband is so good with money (I'm not), so we always come in "under" budget (which is $260 a month for groceries, toiletries, household things and paper products. Including two children in diapers.). The only debt we have is our house. We buy our cars with cash (or check) and we save about $280 a month. It's good to see that others do it too.
