No, I haven't had the baby yet, but something equally exciting has happened.
I was awakened this morning to shouts of, "IT SNOWED!IT SNOWED!DID YOU SEE THE SNOW, MOMMY?LOOK AT THE SNOW!THERE IS SNOW EVERYWHERE!SNOW!SNOW!LOTS AND LOTS OF SNOW!!"
Multiply that times six, add in clapping, jumping up and down, twirling around the living room, throw in two barking dogs, and you've got an idea of what our house was like this morning.
What I want to know is: How is my husband going to drive 90 miles an hour down a 2 lane farm to market road to get me to the hospital on time in all this weather?

I am jealous! Enjoy the snow!
When it started snowing yesterday I thought of you, because when I was pregnant with Emma I worried a blizzard would blow through just as I needed to get to the hospital! Roads here are good and we haven't gotten any more snow here in town today...of course it's in the forecast for next Thursday! Stay warm:)
that's exactly what i was wondering when i saw the snow. seriously i was, lol. :)
I was born in a blizzard and that was pretty much the status quo for Northern Ontario, Canada at the time - my dad shovelled out the drive and roadway every night for over a month - I was overdue. He swears there has never been a February with more snow on record before or since the winter I was born - 11'8" snowfall. How does yours compare? You'll just have to put on you pink slippers and slip down the road!
Did you know that it snowed here on Thanksgiving? I was the one jumping up and down screaming with excitement! :-)
We went to Michigan for Thanksgiving and it snowed Thanksgiving day there as well. We thought we had something special until my sister, who lives a block from me, called and told me it was snowing there (DFW area). Sigh. Texas snows are few and far between. We were a little sad we missed one!
