Here is a recipe for chocolate cookies that I made up myself. It's really good! (It only makes about 18 cookies. If you have a large family you should double it. I know that's a lot of butter, but it's so good!)
2 sticks softened butter (not margarine!)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup cocoa
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
Pre-heat oven to 350. Beat butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until fluffy. Mix in cocoa. Stir in flour, salt, and baking powder. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Cool on wire racks.

I am ALL about the chocolate so this is gonna be a keeper! The girls and I plan on baking some after church tomorrow evening. This will be a perfect time to try your cookies! Yummy!
