One Man's Trash Is Another Man's Treasure

Stumble Upon Toolbar

This is an example of what happens when children have a mean mother who does not allow them to watch television or play computer games.

My children found these huge discarded plastic flower pots in the alley behind our house a few days ago. So, naturally they dragged them into our backyard. I mean everyone drags "treasures" from the alley into their backyard, right? Anyway, they have literally spent hours playing with them.

What a great post. They are so cute in their pots. The first picture I thought the pots were a lot smaller than they obviously are. Thanks for the smile!

Those pots are huge! The girls look like they had a blast. :) I love that last picture. I was wondering if you haven't used them for anything yet if we could borrow them for vbs maybe? Lemme know.

That is awesome!! That is one of the greatest "treasures" I have seen! My Superman found a frisbe the other day or aka tire rim as his newest and biggest "treasure". :0)

How wonderful! I love it when they use their imaginations like that.

Wonderful Fun! Don't you just love it when the children creatively play with seemingly nothing? It really is a treasure -- what a fabulous find and what a fun way to spend the afternoon!

Thank you for sharing and for the great photos! (I will second Nikki's comment - I too thought the pots were much smaller just regular pots, until the second picture told the truth of the matter!!)
