I recently ordered a sweet silver bracelet with Philippians 4:13 engraved on it. I plan to give it to a friend who is going through a very difficult time. As many of you probably know, Philippians 4:13 is "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
I got the bracelet in the mail today, and I am pleased with how beautiful it is. There is an additional quote on it, though, that is confusing to me. "God led the strength. Philippians 4:13" appears opposite the "I can do all things" quote.
Have you ever had a moment when you questioned what you thought you were sure of? Like when you are driving past the church building on a week day and you notice the parking lot is full of cars. Do you think for a split second, "Is this Sunday and I have forgotten?" That is the feeling I got when I first saw the quote. I was pretty sure I knew the scripture I should have been seeing, but when I saw the additional quote, I quickly turned in my Bible to see if I was losing it! I was glad to see the verse just the way I remembered it.
Now that I know my Half-Heimers isn't acting up, I'm just left to wonder what in the world does "God led the strength" mean? Does it even make sense, grammatically? Can anyone shed light on this? And what do I do with the bracelet? Do I give it to the friend anyway?

It is grammatically unsound, that is for sure. I don't have an answer to your second question.
It seems rather redundant to say that God strengthens & God led / brought / etc. the strength.
Can you re-examine the source, to figure out why they think it necessary?
